We welcome you and your group to view our gardens, enjoy our home made quality foods and traditional preserves made from our own orchard fruits.
Treat your senses while we take you on a stroll through our beautiful garden of surprises. Scattered old trees and plantings, colourful flowers, green shady spaces and a fragrant orchard – it’s a joy.
Keep an eye out for our hidden gems which includes our old crab apple tree. It has supplied our family with an abundance of fruits for at least 80 years which we still use today for our traditional preserves – following our grand mother’s recipe.
STROLL. TASTE. RELAX. ENJOY.

HISTORY AND BEAUTY
Our farm goes back 100 years, four generations of our family have worked with passion in our gardens. And that shows. The wider garden area is symbolic of old occupation on the site with the odd fruit tree in odd positions. There are also remnants of shelter belts and other old shrubs and trees but collectively all these become the backbone and highlights of the stroll garden at Plum Meadows. Not to forget the original, recently renovated 1880’s barn.
The ‘new’ garden is comprised of several rooms as well as a kitchen garden and tree-lined walkways. Unique structural features throughout provide a twist to the traditional country garden with surprises around every corner.
Four generations have farmed on our 40 hectare farm. Today the main purpose of our land is the 13 hectare stone fruit orchard. As well as twelve different varieties of plums, there is also heritage varieties of Blackboy peaches (peche de vigne), greengage plums and peacharines. While most fruits are sold, we make sure we keep plenty to turn in to our home made traditional preserves.
